Reasi, April 7: Students of Government Nursing College (GNC), Reasi, brought laurels to the institution by securing the second position in the grand finale of quiz competition organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) in association with Government Medical College Jammu, Nursing Council J&K, and the Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA), Jammu Chapter, on the occasion of World Health Day 2026. The GNC Reasi team showcased exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the competition. Their journey to the grand finale began with a remarkable performance at the zonal-level competition held on March 24, 2026, where they emerged as winners among participants from zone 3. The team participated under the guidance and supervision of Principal Dr. Seema Rani, along with dedicated support from Nursing Tutors Mrs. Shivani Sharma (Nodal Officer), Mrs. Tamanna Verma (Quiz Master) and Mrs. Hemani Rathore (Quiz Master) The students who participated in the competition are: Anchal Sharma, Namarata Dogra, Nazira Jan & Bisma Gaffor.
